About the speaker
Beatriz Guillén is the executive director of The Resource Foundation. She was responsible for launching the Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Global Leadership, a graduate degree for senior leaders in global policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Prior to her role at Columbia University, Beatriz worked regionally at CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean- for ten years, where she co-founded its Social Innovation Office.
Beatriz is a BMW Foundation’s Responsible Leader and serves as a board member for two nonprofit organizations: MENTEE and ALTERNA.

She enjoys teaching, training, and educating people to think critically about their relationships and empower them to take steps to reach their capabilities. Cristina’s background is in law and international studies, and she has served as an organizational representative at the United Nations. She has also masterfully managed the moves of her family to spaces large and small, with a reputation among her friends as an organizational and decluttering expert.
